Helping ADHD, Autistic and other Neurodiverse business people make the most of the Access to Work Scheme
Neurodiverse business people who have been diagnosed with a range of ADHD and autism conditions are creating exciting, innovative, businesses here in Cumbria and around the UK. Able Admin are here to take away the worry and stress of your admin, so you can be part of that growth and get on with what you do best. Whether you use the Access to Work scheme or not, let’s see how we can help.
How We Help - Why neurodiverse business people come to Able Admin
If you are neurodiverse, you are wonderfully unique. You do things that other people would never think to do and see things a way other business people don’t. Your success is probably based on using your individual skills and abilities to do the work you really enjoy. However, you probably also find some administrative areas of your business challenging. That can be a worry and a distraction that will lead to a lot of unnecessary stress. This is where we come in.
There are three steps to getting yourself free from the burden of admin.
- First, we will sit down and talk to you about your business so we can work together to decide where you need help the most. We can also talk about the Access to Work grant at this point, if that is appropriate.
- Next, we work out an individual plan for you and your business. We take the problem areas we talked about and come up with the best solutions to ensure the things that need to be done get done… when they need doing
- We set a start date and take some, or all, of those distracting jobs you hate off your calendar. Then you get more time to do the work that you enjoy most and continue to build your business to new success.
From the moment we start to work with you, we will help you in the areas that many of our clients with ADHD and Autism find challenging. These could include:
- Planning – helping you achieve your goals with focused planning
- Prompts and Reminders – making sure you are where you need to be, doing the things you need to do.
- Organisation – We take the mess and the confusion and make it all make sense
- Advice – There is an old saying ‘You only know what you know’. Fortunately, we have extensive experience of neurodiverse conditions in business to bring to the table
Your individual needs will be at the heart of everything we do to help you. As we said, you are unique. How we help you will also be unique. It’s about what is right for you and what will give you the freedom from the administrative burden you want to achieve.
Call us and let’s make a start on the next part of your business journey by freeing up your admin time. Reducing your admin, and structuring the way you work, will mean you can do more by doing less.
